Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Gingersnap Review

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Gingersnap Review

I’ve been wanting to incorporate the colour coral into my looks since it was announced as the Pantone Colour of the Year! I’ve realized that I don’t own as many coral coloured lipsticks as I originally thought I did. But one of my favourite coral lipstick products is from Bite Beauty. It is the Amuse Bouche lipstick in Gingersnap. This lipstick is more opaque than the Tarte Cosmetics coral lipstick that I recently reviewed.

I’ve partnered with Inspired by Rossland Optical to share with you another way to pair a coral lip with the perfect frame. The perfect frame to pair with a bold coral lip in my opinion is something like this Top Look frame – Odessa col.A2. It’s the perfect frame because it’s a subtle crystal frame in a coral/pink colour. Sometimes a crystal frame can almost disappear or get washed out but pairing it with minimal face makeup and a bold lipstick is the perfect way to bring out the pop of colour. I love how Bite Beauty Gingersnap and this Toplook frame are different colours but they have similar tones that work perfectly together!

I can’t get enough of the formula of Bite Beauty lipsticks. They are super comfortable and they last a really long time on the lips. They also use all natural ingredients so it’s not as bad for you when you ultimately end up eating the lipstick by the end of the day.

This is a fully opaque lipstick. With one quick swipe you can get the colour completely on your lips. I love how easily this applies to the lips and how vibrant the colour is.

I have really dry and flakey lips. Somehow this lipstick is able to almost smooth out my lips and make them look more hydrated. I’m sure this has to do with the satin formula. It’s very forgiving when it comes to dryness and fine lines on the lips.

I do find that this colour can look a little strange at times and accentuate the yellowness of your teeth. That’s something I’ve just come to accept lately and I’m sure it’s something I’ll look into getting fixed in the future. I just know that I don’t have the whitest teeth but I’ll wear whatever lipstick shade I want at this point.

I actually have a full collection post of my Bite Beauty lipsticks which you can check out here.

Are you loving incorporating coral into your makeup looks? I’d love to know your favourite coral makeup products! Let me know what you think of the glasses and lipstick? I’m totally obsessed with how these frames match this lipstick shade! I’m not always the biggest fan of Crystal frames but I think this one is stunning!
