It’s no secret that I have an obsession with everything Colourpop related! I just love how they are constantly releasing products and that everything they do is extremely affordable! (The also recently starting charging duties at checkout which I love so much because I have no surprises at delivery anymore!)

Last month I was in the States with my mom for a bit of a shopping getaway right before the holidays. I really wanted to make the most of that trip and get a lot of things that I couldn’t find as easily in Canada. When I stopped at Ulta I made sure to check out the Colourpop display. I was really excited that they had the Rendezvous palette in stock because at the time it was an Ulta exclusive. I loved the colour selection and I really wanted to pick it up because I thought it would be an amazing companion to the Dream St and Zodiac palettes that I picked up over the last few months!
Upon first swatch I’m not sure if I like the palette quite as much as some of the other Colourpop palettes. I found that the mattes were a little patchy and the shimmers weren’t nearly as creamy as they usually were. I never like judging eyeshadow completely based on how it swatches on the arm so I’ll have to wait as see how it applies on the eyes before I give it my final opinion!
