Top 3 Eyeshadow Palettes For Fall

Top 3 Eyeshadow Palettes For Fall

With fall approaching I’ve been playing around with my eye looks lately. I’ve always been a fan of an orange and warm brown smokey eye, but when fall rolls around that’s always my go to. I’ve been gravitating to a couple eyeshadow palettes in particular lately and I think they have the perfect colour selection for fall.

The three palettes that I’ve been dipping into lately are the Too Faced Peanut Butter And Jelly Palette, the Morphe 12NB palette, and the Milani Everyday Eyes Powder Eyeshadow Collection in Earthy Elements. All of these give me some serious fall vibes!

Too Faced Peanut Butter And Jelly Palette
This Too Faced palette had me drooling over every instagram photo of it that I came across. I knew as soon as I saw it that I needed it in my collection. The colours in it are perfect for an everyday eye look for me. I tend to go for a more orange and brown soft cut crease because it usually helps make my eye colour pop. Even though I’ve used this during every season since I purchased it I think it really works for the perfect fall eyeshadow look.

My favourite way to use the palette is to buff Peanut Butter into my crease, Nuts About U to deepen up my crease, Peanut Brittle on the outer lid and Bananas on the inner lid and as a highlight in the inner corner. I also use Peanut Butter and Nuts About U to smoke out my lower lash line. I wear this look when I am in a rush and have no time to try something crazy and different.

Morphe 12NB palette
I was actually a little disappointed by this palette when I first received it. For the price compared to Morphe’s 35 colour palettes I thought the size was going to be slightly larger. But after using it a few times I realized that the colours were perfect for me and I was probably never going to hit pan of any of these shadows anyways. I went on a trip for a few days recently and this was the only palette I took with me because I find it to be extremely versatile. I do wish that they would have included a name for the shades because it can be difficult to talk about the specific colours that I love using.

I’ve really been enjoying the second shade on the bottom row mixed with the first shade in the middle row as a crease colour and then the third shade on the top row as an all over lid colour. It gives me a super simple everyday look. But I also have been adding the other three shades in the middle row to really deepen up the look and give it more of a fall tone to it.

Milani Everyday Eyes Powder Eyeshadow Collection in Earthy Elements
I spent so much time and effort trying to find this palette. Milani products are fairly difficult to find in Canada. I only recently found out that the Supercenter stores carry a decent amount of their products. After several trips I finally found this in stock and it wasn’t opened up and swatched. The only negative I really have of this palette is that the light shimmery cream colour has very little pigmentation to it. No matter how I apply this or how many layers of this I put on it doesn’t show up at all on my lids. This was a little disappointing to me because I was really hoping that would be the perfect all over lid colour.

With this palette my go-to look has been the second and third shade buffed into my crease, the fourth shade on my outer lid and the top shade on the right across the rest of my lid. It gives a similar look to what I do with the Too Faced palette but this one has less orange and more brown in it.

If you’re looking for the perfect palette to work into your fall makeup routine than I definitely recommend checking these three out.
