Physicians Formula recently released highlighters in their murumuru butter line. I’m obsessed with the butter bronzer and blush so I figured I needed to try them out!
I was really hopeful on the formula but before I was able to find them at my local drugstore I heard that the formula was completely different. They are more like the Colourpop highlighters than the other murumuru butter products. I honestly thought that was a little weird for Physicians Formula to do. It would make sense for them to keep everything in a similar formula. But I’m such a fan of the Colourpop super shock highlighters that I wanted to give the Physicians Formula ones a try to see how they compared.
I am finally back to blogging after quite a long hiatus over the past couple months. It wasn’t really planned on my end but life was busy and unfortunately my blog wasn’t able to take priority. I was juggling a few jobs for a while and I moved to a new apartment. Everything is finally starting to settle down and I plan to go into 2018 with more of a focus on my blog! I’m really excited to see what the new year brings and it’s looking good so far!
Ipsy is one of my all time favourite subscription services. I’ve been subscribed to Ipsy long before I even had an idea of how to use a majority of the products that I received. It’s an inexpensive way to try out a bunch of different beauty products on a regular basis. Each month, subscribers receive a Glam Bag with 5 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. The service costs $10 USD, shipping is free within the US and an additional $4.95 USD to ship to Canada.
This month’s theme was Boss Babe. Basically they wanted to give a vibe of being able to conquer the world while empowering other women. I loved that idea but I have no clue how any of the products I received have anything to do with that. Well except the nail polish shade name – Girl Boss. It’s not really the most girl boss colour though – I would have expected something a little more bold with that name.
Recently I’ve introduced a new blog series – Makeup Bag Monday. I’ve been loving watching and reading other bloggers posts and videos so I wanted to try it out for myself.
Each week I put five products to the test and review them. This week I focused on a few new products and a bunch that I’ve had in my collection for a while. I ended up liking all of the products so it was a good week for makeup for me for the most part!
A little while ago I posted my Mac lipstick collection. I loved how that post turned out and it was really fun to dive into my makeup collection to rediscover some makeup that I basically forgot about. I decided I want to try and do that a little more often for some of the makeup brands that I have a decent amount of lipstick from.
This post is going to focus on all of the Bite Beauty lip products that I own. I never realized that this was a brand that I actually had a lot of lipstick from until I started looking at my lipstick collection by brand rather than by colour family. (My lipstick collection is currently organized in colour groups – pink, nude, red and deep/vampy). I have a pretty wide collection of colours from Bite Beauty so I was really excited to put this post together.
