With the cold winter months rolling in everyone and your dog is bound to get a case of the sniffles. I’ve already had a two week cold that I just couldn’t shake, no matter what I tried. After getting through that sickness I decided to put together my list of some of the products that really help me get through a sick day.
Kathleen Lights is one of my favourite youtubers. I don’t know what it is about her but I feel like I connect with her even though I have never met her or even had a conversation with her. She’s super down to earth and I’ve always enjoyed watching her videos. Every single time she collabs on a product I feel like it is my duty to purchase the product and support her. Plus everything she has worked on has turned out to be such an amazing product. I don’t regret anything I’ve purchased that she’s worked on. I have these exact same feelings about the recently released Kathleen Lights x Morphe Palette.
I have a unhealthy obsession with lip products and an even unhealthier obsession with Colourpop lip products. Every time they release new products I seriously have to control myself so that I don’t end up buying everything in sight.
I’m a huge fan of their Ultra Matte Lippies. Lovebug was one of my favourite products in October, which you can read more about here. They are great products and make it easy to apply the product and completely forget about it. But with the cold and dry winter months rolling in, it is easy to avoid these products because they can sometimes feel uncomfortable on the lips.
October has been a month mainly of rediscovering or playing around with products that I have had in my collection for a while. I did purchase a few products this month but I really tried to stick to having a no buy month. Over the past couple months I haven’t felt like I had products that were completely my favourites. I had a lot of products that I tried a couple times and enjoyed – but nothing that I was truly loving. That definitely changed this month and I have quite a few products that became a staple in my daily routine throughout the month.
Ipsy is a monthly subscription service. It features 5 different deluxe or full-sized products and a makeup bag for $10 USD per month. Shipping in the US is free and it’s $4.95 USD for Canadian shipping. I’ve been subscribed to Ipsy for several years now and it’s a lot of fun getting a few new products sent to you every month.
