Ipsy is a monthly subscription service. It features 5 different deluxe or full-sized products and a makeup bag for $10 USD per month. Shipping in the US is free and it’s $4.95 USD for Canadian shipping. I’ve been subscribed to Ipsy for several years now and it’s a lot of fun getting a few new products sent to you every month.
With fall approaching I’ve been playing around with my eye looks lately. I’ve always been a fan of an orange and warm brown smokey eye, but when fall rolls around that’s always my go to. I’ve been gravitating to a couple eyeshadow palettes in particular lately and I think they have the perfect colour selection for fall. View Post
I enjoyed keeping track of my lipstick last week so I decided to try that out again this week. It’s been a great way to try out more lipstick colours that I tend to neglect on a regular basis. I worked quite a bit this week and had a lot of errands and plans with friends, but I still made time everyday to put a minimal amount of makeup on and play around with lipstick.
I regularly check the Sephora Favorites listings in hopes that a new favorites package will show up on the site. I love purchasing the ones with lip products in them because I’m obsessed with a travel sized lip products. I rarely get through a full sized lip product so these are perfect for me. A few weeks ago I saw that this year’s Give Me Some Lip set was posted on the website. Even though I already owned two of the products I thought it would be worth it to buy the set.
A few months back I read a blog post on The Makeup Directory that was My Week in Lipsticks. I really enjoyed how Sally documented which lipsticks she used that week and a little insight on each colour and why she chose it. I decided that I wanted to start this as a way of keeping track of the colours I love most but also as a way of trying different products that might go unloved in my collection. I want to try to post my own week in lipstick as much as I possibly can.
