Ipsy Review – February 2018

Ipsy is one of my all time favourite subscription services. I’ve been subscribed to Ipsy long before I even had an idea of how to use a majority of the products that I received. It’s an inexpensive way to try out a bunch of different beauty products on a regular basis. Each month, subscribers receive a Glam Bag with 5 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. The service costs $10 USD, shipping is free within the US and an additional $4.95 USD to ship to Canada.

This month’s theme was unzipped. It was all about breaking down the barriers of what being sexy is. They want you to forget about size, shape and age when it comes to how you embrace yourself. I think it’s really cool that Ipsy made this theme something that actually matters rather than some weird theme that doesn’t even make sense like they always do. I loved that the bag was pink and lacy because I really think it goes with that unzipped theme.

My Makeup Wishlist

Lately I’ve been cutting down my spending on makeup. Ever since I moved out I just don’t have as much money for makeup products, which can be disappointing sometimes. But I love where I’m living so I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

Just because I can’t spend as much money on makeup doesn’t mean that I don’t dream about all of the products that I can’t afford. I decided to put together a list of some of the products that I’ve been lusting over lately! There’s been a lot of products that caught my eye but these are a few that I feel like I need as soon as I can save up some money to buy them!

Makeup Bag Monday #9

Every other week I try out 5 products and try to use them every single day for a week. This helps to give me a better understanding of exactly how I feel about the products. It sometimes forces me to use products that I rarely reach for or ones that I might have forgotten about.

January 2018 Makeup Favourites

January has been quite a busy month for me. I worked a lot of earlier shifts so I didn’t have as much time in the morning to apply all the makeup that I usually do. I went to work pretty often with a bare face and I’ve been a lot more comfortable doing that. But I had a lot of time on the weekends to play with makeup and have some fun with it. I spent a lot of time blogging this month so a few of my favourites were products that I was testing out for blog posts. View Post
