Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Peptide Repair Rescue Review

Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Peptide Repair Rescue Review

Lately I’ve been so unhappy with my hair that I’ve been searching high and low for something to help it! I know that I desperately need to book a hair appointment but I just haven’t gotten around to doing it and buying Christmas gifts for everyone in my life has meant I probably won’t get around to getting my hair done until the new year!

Luckily I’ve been able to try some new products over the last several months and I feel like my hair is looking a lot better!

At the beginning of October I was invited to a Schwarzkopf event for the relaunch of the BC Bonacure line! It was a super fun event and I was able to take home a little goodie bag of products to try out. I’ve always had really good luck with Schwarzkopf products so I had high hopes for these.

The line that I’ve tried out was the Peptide Repair Rescue Line. It’s supposed to help with damage and breakage. All the claims state that it can repair up to three years of hair damage. Let me tell you that about 3 years ago now I had the worst hair experience of my life and my hair hasn’t really been the same ever since. So I was definitely excited to see if I could repair and help fix my hair.

Shampoo, Conditioner, Deep Nourishing Treatment

After trying out the products I’m in love with the the shampoo, conditioner and hair mask. They do such a good job at cleaning my hair without feeling harsh. I love the idea that the products use micellar water because it makes me feel like it’s washing my hair in a gentle way. I do still have to use one of my intensive scalp shampoo products because it doesn’t help with the dry and flakey scalp problems that I regularly have to deal with. I find that the conditioner is actually fairly moisturizing which doesn’t always work that way for my hair. I used to always use a hair mask in place of conditioner. The hair mask is very nourishing and I usually use it about once a week.

Sealed Ends, Nutri Shield Serum, Spray Conditioner

As for the post shower products I have been enjoying them but I don’t know if they are 100% necessary. I do think that they work in the same way that a lot of higher end products do. I would probably recommend purchasing one or two of these products that you think would help your hair overall. I really think I could get away with just using the hair serum and not needing either of the other two products. That seems to be the product that has made the most difference in my hair.

Overall I’m super happy with the results of these products after almost 2 months of using them! I love Schwarzkopf products because they truly are salon quality products but they are a little bit more accessible and slightly more affordable. I’ve used their BlondMe line in the past and it did such a good job at keeping my hair looking extra blonde!
