Wet N Wild Lash Renegade Mascara

Wet N Wild Lash Renegade Mascara

I’m always willing to try a new mascara out. I definitely have favourites but I rarely repurchase the same mascara over again. I feel like there’s so many different options that I want to try as many as I can!

I was really sucked in to the Wet N Wild Lash Renegade mascara because of the really cool packaging! It just looks so modern and trendy and I was loving it!

The price point also sold me on this. I can’t say no to an affordable mascara since they expire so quickly! You can usually find it for around $8 CAD.

I didn’t really look much into the wand but I wish I would have before purchasing because I don’t know if I would have bought this. The wand is so difficult to work with. There’s a ball at the end of the wand and a normal looking wand part at the base. The ball was really great for getting in on the inside and outside of my lashes but the base was really difficult to work with. I was always afraid that I was going poke myself in the eye with the ball part of the wand. I haven’t so far but I’ve been super cautious with the wand to make sure it doesn’t happen. There’s also a slight gap between the ball and the base of the wand and that makes it that much harder to use. I might have had a slightly better experience coating all of my lashes easier if there wasn’t that gap there. It doesn’t seem like a lot but it made quite a difference for me.

The formula of the mascara was good for a natural look. It did build up a bit but I would say this isn’t the most volumizing mascara. The formula works pretty well at curling my lashes and it did a great job at keeping the curl throughout most of the day.

I really didn’t like the formula at all when I first gave it a try but as it’s started to dry up over the last month it’s been performing and applying a lot better. It’s actually getting more buildable the more time goes on.

Overall this is definitely not a mascara that I would purchase again in the future. I will definitely continue to use it up and I’ll probably end up mixing it with another mascara.

Have you tried using this mascara before? What do you think of the wand? I’d love to hear all your thoughts in the comments below!
