Ipsy is one of my all time favourite subscription services. I’ve been subscribed to Ipsy long before I even had an idea of how to use a majority of the products that I received. It’s an inexpensive way to try out a bunch of different beauty products on a regular basis. Each month, subscribers receive a Glam Bag with 5 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. The service costs $10 USD, shipping is free within the US and an additional $4.95 USD to ship to Canada.
The Ipsy Bag for May is all about travelling and seeing the world. If there’s anything that I can dream about it’s more travelling! I love a good travel theme and the Glam Bag definitely fits with that theme. I actually went out of town for a weekend and packed all of my skin care in this bag which was awesome! It’s a little bit smaller than some of the past ipsy bags but I liked the zipper set up because I’m able to see everything in the bag when I opened it up without having to dig around a bunch!

I think this is a super cute lip colour. It’s fairly comfortable and wears well throughout the day. I don’t know how often I would reach for it because it’s not my favourite type of lipstick. I would much rather a lipstick bullet rather than a crayon type lip product.
I’m so unimpressed with this polish. I’ve tried this brand a few times before and I just don’t think it’s anything amazing. Lately I just don’t want to wear anything other than nail wraps or KL Polish though. Every other nail polish brand just doesn’t seem to hold up in my opinion. It lasted a decent amount of time but ended up peeling off my nail. I also wasn’t really wowed by the colour. It’s just a little too pale of a pink for my liking.
I’m always obsessed with a glycolic toner. I feel like it always does the most for my skin. My skin loves them and they make my skin look clear and even. This one was no different! After a few short weeks my skin looked healthy and radiant! I’m definitely planning to purchase a full size of this product when I run out because it’s 100% a new favourite of mine! It is a little pricey but I think it’s well worth the price tag after getting through a lot of this sample size.
I’m pretty happy with getting this face mask. I love Tonymoly and I haven’t really tried a bad product from them lately! After trying this out I think it’s been one of my favourite detox and clearing face masks. My skin felt fresh and didn’t feel tight or uncomfortable after wearing the mask. It did help keep my oils under control if I used the mask in the morning before applying makeup. I think this really lives up to the product expectations that they claim it to have!
First Aid Beauty always has some really amazing and hydrating products. I’ve been wanting to try their serum out but I just haven’t actually wanted to purchase it. I think this is a good size to test it out but I was a little disappointed with the packaging. They make it seem like there’s a lot of product in the tube but it was basically just under half way full. I know that’s usually the case with squeezy tube products though. Overall I found this worked well for my skin but I don’t know if I would end up purchasing this in the future. It just wasn’t life changing enough for me to feel like it’s worthwhile to buy.

Overall I think this was a really great bag this month. I liked the majority of the products and I think they are products I’m excited to continue to use over the next little while!
