I’m so excited to say that this is my 100th blog post! I know that doesn’t seem like a huge number to a lot of people but it’s a big deal to me. I started this blog as a way to showcase some of the things that I learned throughout university and college. It was a way to show people that I knew how to create content and market it to a wider audience. But it’s really become a passion of mine lately! I’ve love being able to share all of my thoughts on makeup and beauty here. I’ve been a bit of a bad blogger lately and barely even posted anything here and on Instagram over the last month but I’m trying to plan and be more organized! I’m going to try to post twice a week from now on so I’ll see if I can keep up with that!

Now the real reason for this blog post is to share some thoughts on my little pile of garbage that I’ve accumulated over the past few weeks! I have a lot of thoughts on all these products and some of them are actually my favourites so I’m sad and excited that I used them all up!
I can’t even believe that I used up a whole concealer. I’ve been working at this one for quite some time and I’m so proud of myself. I actually really loved this concealer and I would be open to purchasing it again in the future. I don’t really think I need to buy a concealer for the next little while but this is one that I would love to have in my collection again. There are way too many concealers in my collection right now so I’m just excited I was able to clear one out!
I’ve had this trial size for quite sometime now so I’m excited that I finally used it up. I actually really enjoyed using this. I kind of stopped using it for a while because I didn’t want to run out of it. But I recently went through a phase where all I wanted to do was use up the trial size products that I had and this was one I focused on. I really would consider purchase a full size of this in the future when I have more of a need for it. It does such a good job at breaking up makeup. I found it was a non abrasive way of removing all the makeup I wore. It was really great at removing mascara as well which is a big plus for me!
This is probably one of the best toners that I’ve ever used. My skin loved this so much and it really helped to clear up my complexion. I just love how clear my skin looks when I’m using this. I can already tell a difference after not using it for the past couple weeks. It’s fairly affordable but I was thinking of trying The Ordinary Glycolic Toner since it’s slightly less expensive. If that doesn’t work well I’ll be returning it and repurchasing this one.
I’m a huge fan of just about everything I’ve tried from Drunk Elephant. I actually saw a difference in the brightness of my skin when using this. I did notice that as time went on the orange colour became much more intense and that apperantly means that the product isn’t as effective. You can read more about that here (https://www.futurederm.com/vitamin-c-serum-really-lose-potency-turns-yellow-futurederm-labs/) I’d love to purchase the full size of this but if I couldn’t even finish this small sample size before it started losing it’s effectiveness that I think the larger size would be such a waste. If you have any dupes or alternatives I’d love to hear about them in the comments below!
Recently I’ve been a huge fan of using makeup wipes. I usually go through phases where I love or hate makeup wipes. Lately I’ve been super busy and getting home exhausted so it’s nice to have a go to way of taking my makeup off when I can barely get out of my bed. I’ve also liked using them as my first step in my night time when I’m not as tired and exhausted. These are pretty good. But the packaging stopped sticking almost halfway through. I would have to wet the wipe before I could even use it. I would probably buy this again but I would make sure that I keep it in a plastic bag or some kind of storage container so that they don’t dry up so quickly.
I received this sample for free by signing up on the CeraVe website. After trying it out I wasn’t particularly wowed by it. I think it was a little too thick for my skin. It didn’t really seep into my skin as quickly as I would have liked it too. It just kind of stayed on top of my skin and I just wasn’t a fan. I wouldn’t purchase this in the future but I liked that I was able to test it out and give something new a try. I thought it was a decent sized sample as well so I was able to give it a good amount of time to really try it out.

What products have you used up recently? I’m really trying hard to focus on using up makeup products but it can be so difficult sometimes!
