A little while ago I posted my Mac lipstick collection. I loved how that post turned out and it was really fun to dive into my makeup collection to rediscover some makeup that I basically forgot about. I decided I want to try and do that a little more often for some of the makeup brands that I have a decent amount of lipstick from.
This post is going to focus on all of the Bite Beauty lip products that I own. I never realized that this was a brand that I actually had a lot of lipstick from until I started looking at my lipstick collection by brand rather than by colour family. (My lipstick collection is currently organized in colour groups – pink, nude, red and deep/vampy). I have a pretty wide collection of colours from Bite Beauty so I was really excited to put this post together.
The multistick formula is super interesting for me. These products are super versatile but I usually just wear them as lipstick. They can be a little drying so I always have to exfoliate my lips before applying these. This is a pretty warm, deep nude shade. I think it’s a really nice fall nude shade.
I really don’t know what I was thinking buying this lipstick. It’s such a cool toned lipstick that I know I won’t reach for it and it won’t look that great on my skin tone. Sometimes these shades end up making me look sick and as if my lips are turning blue. I’ll need to try to get some use out of this as a blush or eyeshadow or something because the chances of me using it as a lipstick are slim.
This is such a similar shade to Cashew that I probably could have gotten away with having just one of them. Almond is a little bit warmer than Cashew though so it can make a little bit of a difference.
This shade is honestly my ideal deeper nude lip shade. I’ve already worn the little sample size of this a ton and if I can get through it I would definitely purchase the full size of it. I actually will include it in a future Makeup Bag Monday post that I have planned so you’ll get to see more of my thoughts on it next week!
This lip gloss swatches like garbage but it looks gorgeous on the lips. It’s got gold, rose, green and purple tones to it. I find that it really transforms every lipstick that you apply this on top of. It’s super comfortable and I love pairing this with just about any lipstick!
I think this is one of the more unique colours that I have from Bite Beauty which really makes it the least wearable for me. These super deep dark colours are gorgeous but I just never reach for them. I want to try and wear them a bit more this fall and winter. Since I spend a lot of time working from home now it could be fun to wear those colours on days that I’ll be at home most of the time. It will be a fun way to introduce myself to wearing bold colours on a more regular basis.
This is the perfect berry shade for the fall to winter season. It’s a deep vampy lip without being too over the top. I enjoy wearing berry matte shades a little bit more than normal lipsticks because I feel like they don’t slip and slide all over my face throughout the day. This is a really comfortable matte shade so it’s perfect for that! I definitely need to wear this colour more often throughout the next few months.
This is the first side of a special double ended bullet I bought at Christmas time a while back. Somehow this looks so similar to honeycomb buuuuut it looks a million times better on my lips. This is 100% a way to justify having a bunch of different nudes because a slight difference could be a huge deal. I’m pretty sure this formula of lipstick was discontinued and replaced by the Amuse Bouche lipsticks but I personally don’t notice a huge difference between them.
This is the second side of the lipstick bullet set. Fig is a really wearable, everyday pink shade. It’s probably the shade that I’ve had the most use out of in my Bite Beauty collection. I wore this so much when I first purchased it. The setup of this lipstick tube was actually super great for travel and made it easy to drop into my purse or to pack in my makeup bag when I was commuting for school.
This a really fun and bold colour! I’m always a little nervous of wearing bright, bold colours. I think I usually spend a lot of time worried about having lipstick all over my face or teeth when I wear bright colours. Which is crazy because that could happen with just about any colour. I really need to wear this one more often because it’s a really great colour for the transition into fall. This is a similar colour to Aubergine just a little less vampy, which makes it more of a summer to fall transition shade in my opinion.
This is probably one of my least favourite shades out of my Bite Beauty collection. I don’t what exactly it is about this shade but it make my teeth look horrible and yellow. It also just doesn’t work at all with my skin tone for whatever reason. I think it’s a nice colour it just doesn’t work at all for me.
A while ago I was on the hunt for the perfect orange lipstick shade. I swear I swatched every shade at sephora only to keep coming back to this one. In retrospect it might not have been the best shade for my skin tone but I still manage to get some use for it. I really like pairing this with a warmer brown lip liner. It really just makes the perfect nude shade when they mix together for me.
