ILUVSARAHII x Colourpop Eyeshadow Palette Swatches + Review

ILUVSARAHII x Colourpop Eyeshadow Palette Swatches + Review

When I first saw the swatches for the iluvsarahii and Colourpop collection I wasn’t necessarily wowed by anything. I felt like the eyeshadows were a little predictable and the lip colours were just like most of the colours I already have in my collection. But as I watched more and more videos of different looks with the collection I slowly started to fall in love with the eyeshadow palettes.

The Chic-y palette is really great for everyday use where as the $aucey palette is gorgeous for a more smokey/colourful look. I usually don’t gravitate towards pink and purple shades but the $aucey palette spoke to my soul and I just couldn’t resist picking it up.

I really love the packaging for this collection. The gold designs on the sleeve of the shadow palettes is a lot different than anything colourpop has done in the past with the pressed shadows.

I was super thankful that they added a sticker with the shadow names on the back of the palette. Coloupop hasn’t done this with any other pressed powder collection so I hope it’s something they continue going forward! I always keep the sleeves of the palettes but I know a lot of other people don’t so it makes it easy to keep track of all of the shades included.

Distressed: A matte vanilla

Vivacious: A metallic pink champagne

Freckles: A matte warm mocha

Noche: A matte black brown

I was a little surprised by the shade Vivacious in this palette. I was expecting something a little more neutral for this since all of the other shades are more basic white/brown tones. That might be my least favourite colour out of the palette since I just don’t find it to be that flattering for my complexion and eye colour.

Heavy Glam: A vibrant duochrome orange with a pink flip

Chic Happens: A matte cool mauve

Lit: A vibrant metallic purple

Razy: A matte blackened plum

I really think Heavy Glam is what convinced me to pick up this palette. I’ve been watching a bunch of tutorials with this palette and I’m obsessed with how this looks on the inner corner! I loved how it looked on Katy (Lustrelux) which you can see her look here.

Since I usually don’t pick up these types of colours I don’t have a lot like it in my collection which is great!

As usual the formula on both of these palettes is amazing. Colourpop has done well with their pressed shadows! They are super blendable and have really great colour pay off. I love how affordable they are as well. Even with the price of shipping and the conversion rate for us Canadians it’s still a great deal!

I probably won’t pick up the lip products though. I still just feel as if they aren’t anything special compared to what I already have. Which is crazy because I know I already have a ton of makeup products and I still buy things that are similar. But I’m really trying to curb that as much as I can lately.

Did you pick up any of the iluvsarahii and Colourpop Collection? What were your thoughts? I would love to hear in the comments below!
