I’m so excited that I recently went through a ton of skincare and haircare products. After deciding to pull together a project pan I’m hoping I’ll be able to add more makeup products to my empties posts. I find makeup just takes a million years to actually use up.
After moving at the end of last year and having more limited funds for a bit I wanted to try to use up a lot of the hair and skin care samples I had in my collection. I also just wanted to try to get rid of a lot of stuff since I don’t have as much storage space as I maybe need for the amount of product that I own.
Going into the new year I’m completely overwhelmed by my makeup collection. I’ve always been a little overwhelmed by it. With moving at the end of last year it really hit me as to just how much I have and how much product I rarely use. I’d like to make more of an effort in using up products and keep track of just how much I’m able to use up this year.
As a way to kind of get the ball rolling I decided to pick out 18 products that I would like to focus on panning/using up in 2018. I think this is a bit of a hefty goal but I might as well at least give it a try.
As of lately I’ve been way more into using regular lipsticks in bullet form compared to liquid lipsticks. Which is crazy because I used to be ride or die for liquid lipsticks. I just want something that is comfortable on my lips now and that usually isn’t a characteristic of most liquid lipsticks. But I’m still a big fan of matte lipsticks so I’m constantly on the hunt for the perfect comfortable matte lipstick.
When I saw the Too Faced Peach Kiss lipsticks release I knew I needed all of them. I didn’t purchase them originally because of that reason. I was afraid of falling in love and feeling like I should buy them all. Well, after trying them out that’s definitely starting to happen. I purchased these in such a short time and I’m constantly eyeing up the other colours in the collection.
I’ve heard a lot of beauty bloggers talking about the Maybelline Superstay 24 Hour foundation. I still can’t figure out if the formula or just the packaging is what recently changed with this foundation. I don’t own the older one so I don’t have any way of testing them out. But with all the hype around it I figured I would give it a try. I’m obsessed with Maybelline foundations. I don’t think I’ve tried one that I haven’t liked so far – except the original Fit Me foundation which is a little too dewy for me. View Post
After quite a long hiatus I wanted to bring back my Makeup Bag Monday blog series. But I’ve decided to switch it up a bit and only post it every other week. I found it was really fun to try products out all the time but it just became tedious and almost boring for me to just constantly churn out these blog posts. I felt like they were taking up a lot of my time and I wasn’t able to write about other blog topics that I felt could be a bit more interesting.
